泵用機械擋圈經過靜試后,運轉時高速旋轉產生的離心力,會避免介質的泄漏。因此,運轉時機械擋圈泄漏在排除軸間及端蓋密封失效后,基本上都是由于動、靜環(huán)摩擦副受到破壞所引起的密封失效;

引起摩擦副密封失效的因素:
1、操作中,因抽空、氣蝕、憋壓等異?,F象,引起較大的軸向力,使動、靜環(huán)接觸面分離;
2、安裝機械擋圈時壓縮量過大,導致摩擦副端面嚴重磨損、擦傷;
3、動環(huán)擋圈過緊,彈簧無法調整動環(huán)的軸向浮動量;
4、靜環(huán)擋圈過松,當動環(huán)軸向浮動時,靜環(huán)脫離靜環(huán)座;
5、工作介質中有顆粒狀物質,運轉中進入摩擦副,損傷動、靜環(huán)密封端面;
6、設計選型有誤,密封端面比壓偏低或密封材料冷縮性較大等;
上述的情況在試運轉中經常出現,有時候可以通過適當調整靜環(huán)座等予以,但多數需要重新拆裝,更換密封件;
